Senior Citizen Election Meeting
Thursday, August 4th at 9am in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Mapleton City Center. We need all of you! Mary Denna, Peggie Allan, and LuAnn Diamond will not be running. They still want to be involved, but not in their present responsibilities.

Please, any and all who are interested in running or supporting someone in this election are welcome! This is a great opportunity to do community service that we have been asked to do. Mary, our Chairman, has worked very hard to build the Senior Citizen organization in Mapleton. We need someone who is truly interested in continuing the program. It can be a very great service to the senior population of this city! We are sure that there are people out there with ideas, energy, and ability to give to this organization and make it the blessing to this community that it can be. We especially need someone who can make posters etc., for Publicity. Computer skills are necessary. Peggie has been using a drawing program, but other programs could work as well. Another part of this position is creating this newsletter once a month. Luann is the Treasurer, which involves counting money and keeping track of it. Her health problems are making it impossible for her to continue.
